Of the hundreds of crap 1 oz silver coins (mostly coloured) that the R.C.M. has put out over the last few years, I finally found one that is worthy, and just ordered two of them... Mintage 8500 "A FIRST! Unique combination of traditional and micro engraving with laser frosting techniques " http://www.mint.ca/store/coins/1-oz...ge_8500_2015|Shop-New_Releases_&#.VW5LFXnbLIU The gold is a real stunner as well. Cheers, Luker
http://www.mint.ca/store/coins/1-oz...age_350_2015|Shop-New_Releases_&#.VW5RYXnbLIU I actually purchased one of the golds as well! It's only my second gold coin purchase ever! I just couldn't resist the low mintage of 350...one rarely comes across a coin as nice as this from a major mint with such a low mintage...so there goes my anticipated income tax refund cheque ($2715 CDN with shipping ) Cheers, Luker
You know what...been contemplating this. I love the design.... Couldn't help myself, and got 2 of them.
This coin looks like a beauty. Too bad I can't bring myself to pay such a high premium on a coin!
Geez that is an absolute beauty!...it's really hurting me to see that it appears as good if not better than in the original sketches, as yesterday I cancelled my order with RCM! They annoyed me due to their slow processing times and generally subpar customer relations services. I've been buying both bullion and numismatic products for the last 3 years or so and have used 10+ different online companies and they all provided me with service that was/is superior than my experience with the RCM. Cheers, Luker p.s.: I agree about the high price/premium. For that price it really should come with a rotating display stand/case as is displayed in the video.
I am assuming that this company would accept your credit card if they are shipping internationally... http://www.thecoinshoppe.ca/2015-20-1-oz-fine-silver-coin-maple-leaf-reflection/ http://www.thecoinshoppe.ca/shipping-returns/ Cheers, Luker
Bought 30 of the silver ones as a dealer 27 were returned because of huge scratches or milk spots I was more than 10 years an extrem fan of coins from RCM but loosing more and more confidence in their coins as quality issues during last two years exploded
