"The Royal Canadian Mint is proud to release the second coin in a uniquely Canadian pure silver bullion series that is sure to stand out in today's competitive market," said Ian E. Bennett, President and CEO of the Royal Canadian Mint. "Wildlife and nature are themes that resonate with buyers of Royal Canadian Mint products and we are pleased to offer bullion investors a product which exceeds expectations in terms of quality as well as design." http://www.mint.ca/store/news/royal...002&parentnId=600004&nodeGroup=About+the+Mint
Wow, that's actually a REALLY nice design! I love it! Considering what happened with the Wolf, I expect this bad boy to sell out very fast indeed.
Another interesting new release at the Canadian mint is a $20 legal tender 7.96g .9999 Ag coin that costs, drumroll...$20. A paper for metal swap. Give the mint paper, they convert to .9999 metal at an implied value of $80 silver. Interesting, eh? Are they reassociating a metal as money relationship to the citizenry? The mint site is crashing/unstable, but check it out: http://www.mint.ca/store/coin/20-fine-silver-commemorative-coin-2011-prod1040001
Picked up a couple of the lone wolves, and could also be interested in a roll of grizzly's come release!
Can't wait for the grizzlies!!! I already have 10 wolves in a thermotron strip. Kinda glad my dealer had the thermotron sealed ones in stock.
Milk spots are no longer an issue alexisio. I got a timber wolf with spots at a good price, the spots were removed easily in under 2 minutes. Edit - (embedded youtube link not working) : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7sJSwKe5Ev8
The Grizzly is now listed on APMEX, but they have no stock. I've just sent an email to Gainesville to find out if/when they'll have them. Now to see spot drop. Drop spot drop.
Received 8 wolves today (no milk spots, from brisbanecoins), I really want a roll of grizzly's now =D. Nice coins. Slam
