Are these starting to sell out or is it just some quirk with the holiday period?

Tiger Shark - Silver Bullion Coin

The design on the Tiger Shark (1/2oz) silver bullion coin, consists of a representation of a tiger shark superimposed over a circle enclosing an underwater seascape featuring coral, a clam, 2 fish, a sandy sea floor and the sea surface. The coin includes the following inscriptions 'TIGER SHARK', '2016 1/2oz 9999 SILVER' and the initials of the designer Thomas Vaughan 'TV'.

These shark coins together with the new kangaroo from the perth mint is a lowpoint in coin minting
so ugly and low quality why on earth produce coins like that what a waste

    Agree to some degree.

The Kangaroo is a welcome addition but I would have liked it to be encapsulated like the Kooks, lunars, Koala's.

I think Perth are trying to compete with Mints like the Canadian mint and so they should but they should compete in metal quality.

    9999 Kookaburra's
    9999 Koala's
    9999 Kangaroo's
    9999 Lunars

Keep it basic and keep the quality high.

I think, most folk in Australia and OS want the basic Aussie bullion coin nomenclature.

Exactly if u take the new kooka 2016 cost a fraction more than a maple or eagle and its from outstanding quality then who buys a kangaroo or shark ??
these sharks are full of spots and the design is for a 12 year old the roo is so bad that when i saw it for the first time i thought i didnt wear my glasses but i did

The Koala, imo has always been Perths true bullion coin and so it should be as it's an unlimited mintage.

Perth really doesn't have the production facilities to be pumping out all these new coins and fwiw they can't even produce their 2016 Bullion programme according to their own published doctrine.

Again...management has not only let investors down but they are stuffing around the folk who work at Perth. :(

    Shame really.

All we want is a new design each year and a coin that has potential to gain value.

    As they say...KISS.
