lol I have sold half of my stack recently, as im looking to move into more profitably investments -- RE but still hold some physical and will not sell it all as I do like some diversity.
More often than not, on investment forums I have noticed it is usually the minority (in terms of opinion) who are right. Unfortunately this results in the label of a 'troll' because they upset people set in a particular mindset. This happened just the other day on another forum. As much as you may hate CJ, it may be worth listening to him. BTW, I hope CJ is wrong.
Well... hats off to Sammy for sticking his neck out and making his prediction public... only time will tell whether he is right or wrong. Sammy is very serious about his prediction, as I seen him on Wednesday and we discussed it and while I disagree, his conviction is hard to argue with. I am with Court Jester on this and do not see any real reason for silver to do move than move sideways with decent volatility to ensure the algos and day traders make money. But Sammy sees the situation differently...
I think the difference with CJ is that he does not appear to have an original thought. I put my prediction out there and I expect to see the usual debate and banter;however CJ is of the mindset that if someone is proven wrong, then that makes him right. He plays the man, not the ball. I'm trying to read the market short and medium term, I'm not particular bullish, I think silver is about to ride the bull; I'm just tagging along for the ride. Similarly, if it does climb, there has to be a time to pick the dip, if there is one. As a collective, we should have the smarts between us to be close to right. Constructive thought rather than destructive is the way to go.
Perfectly put and the reason you come across as a complete tosser CJ Don't be a smartass and ridicule someone when you don't have any original thought your own. You try and act like some kind of oracle but provide bugger all. You should be embarrassed, it makes for terrible reading.
I have said the reasons why behind my prediction many different times across multiple threads go look at my older posts if you want to see my reasoning why I think sammy and ANYONE who thinks silver will go up to $30 or above within the next 3 years is incorrect
lol I find this ironic, considering the abuse that gets hurled at me and other members form people (like Yippie) who disagree with their point of view but yet I am the tosser for not replying in kind.
It certainly doesn't help show you as a thoughtful non-antagonistic poster, when you have quotes like this ridiculing another member, as your signature for every post.
Dont get me wrong I have my opinions and will voice them ( and will often stir the pot a little ) but I don't need to hurl abuse at people to get my point across.
CJ, you have confused the trope of the court jester with that of the village idiot. Whereas you see yourself as the shining wit, you are in fact a whining ...... If you are going against me, give your reasons, not that they have been said before. I make a point of not reading your posts, so to date, they are unsaid. I can understand your anger, for if you have sold half your stack, and it was not purchased five years earlier, you are carrying a loss and harbouring a grudge against any perceived winner. As to the other tossers who disagree with me, I like them, they offer an argument, and as such enrich my position.
I sold half my stack to buy a property, overall on what I sold I broke even. I only started buying PM's a little over a year ago ( bought my first PM 10oz bar for around $280) so I dont hold any grudges. Though If I sold the rest I would take a loss but I am not planning to atm. well whats the point of listing my reasons here again for the 50th time sounding like a broken record annoying other if you from your own admission dont bother reading my posts.
