Just wondering what people think about these silver bullets, are they just a gimmick?

I know that silver is silver, and at the end of the day its only worth the current spot price, but a few of these would look pretty cool on my desk!

Yes they are a Gimmick, a very popular one. The 25oz big banger is awesome. Something different. Variety is the spice of life.

Total gimmick, but I think absolutely great. No silly paint job! No silly rhinestones! Just pure silver and I think there's a lot to be said for that.
Totally unique and well worth the (I think) slap-in-the-face premium. Plus--in the US, totally and stridently politically incorrect which I think
makes them all the more wonderful. I'm going to collect every size and caliber that they offer for sale. Can't wait for the 12ga to come out!

Hehe great piece! Saw them a while ago, but the taxes for importing it to europe held me off..
Does someone know if European dealers sell these?

Would be a great addition for my stack! :)

The 10oz bullet arrived a few days ago (thanks to Iceblue) and think it's worth that extra bit more just for the novelty factor.
At around $30 more than a PM 10oz bar, won't be buying many but will definitely be getting the 25oz next just for the sake of having it.

How many of the 10ozers would you need to make a Rambo style ammo belt?

Very gimmicky but that isn't always a bad thing.

I expect to see some selectively plated ones soon, gold plated cartridge with the silver slug would be nice, customised with your name engraved on the bullet.

I won't be getting any as I think it will be difficult recouping your premium when it comes time to sell them.

I love my 10 x 1oz rounds and my 10oz. I think I might have to get the 25oz too.

25oz is on the list - This looks like it could do some serious damage if you jabbed someone with it.

    Morning all,

I am not into Collectables at all, but, I would watch the bullets range very carefully indeed. This just might be a seriously good investment.

    Why?

Because 2013 is the year of The Lone Ranger

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lone_Ranger

Trade mark silver bullets, 'hi ho Silver, away' --- Jonny Depp etc.

If this thing is a blockbuster, then god knows what popularities can spin off this.

This is one of the most popular legends of the last century - personally, I would be watching for the exact calibre that was carried.

It is possible a huge premium could build on these things, especially if they are small enough to wear.

Have a great day all :)

    I think the ranger used

    .45 Long Colt ------- .45 LC

Someone might want to check me on that, but I think it is correct.

These silver bullets are so famous Clayton Moore (the famous tv series ranger) used to give them away at parties and gatherings etc.

Two more types on the way; 1/4 oz. - .22 LR and a 5 oz. - 12 Gauge.
