Sell order in at $3.89 for 50 LtC - this yo-yo should hopefully continue again for like the third or fourth time once it hits that mark.

Both BTC and LTC will ultimately go higher. This rocket hasn't even hit the front page of Wall St Journal yet. There's still a registration queue a mile long at Mt Gox and lots more "dumb money" on the sidelines that couldn't find their ass with a map and a flashlight because they get their financial news from cable television. More buyers than sellers, and nothing makes people itchy like watching other people make money.

It is both a viable transaction model of the future and a bubble, but it'll go up quite a bit more is my guess.

I bought an extra measly 2 btc at around 73 thinking I would regret it as the price was so high and it would correct. Familiar refrain, should have bought more :) I've never seen anything like this rocket, and glad I managed to get on board early, just wish I had had the same faith in it as I did silver.

Using ltc to leverage into btc was the best idea recently.

Yeah, I was considering buying ltc at around 0.60, hesitated and lost. I don't have enough faith in it to buy at these levels, maybe it might be a good trade I don't know, but I don't feel it has the same fundamentals as btc.

Excellent question.. the way to make money seems to be take profits or use a ratio to go into the rising star cryptos - NMC is the next to go over $2 each...

Anyone mined other than BTC/LTC/NMC - can you mine other stuff easily? Looking for the next one PLEASE?

Credit to the R-monkey for posting LTC... cheers mate.. we all made a bunch!

I was discussing the 'next coin' with some other people today.
This isn't just a BtC or LtC bubble, it's a crypto-currency bubble, so getting into one that you can mine 100 per day on early would be really good about now.
PPC and NMC both use SHA-256 which is the same as BTC. That means ASIC miners will be able to do these, which is not good because they can pump them out like no ones business, basically diluting it.

I'll do some research tonight I think once I put the new video card in.

And did I post first about Litecoins?
If so, I am glad I have been of assistance!

It feels really dangerous right now, but like I've said before, I'm staying in. I'd rather risk a correction, even a severe one, than lose my position.

    That's my feeling.

I got my original amount out of it earlier today (just below $4). I know it wasn't top, but it's made me more comfortable about it now, especially since I bought a shiny new GPU with the cash haha.

By pumping them out I think RM means they will be getting a larger proportion of the shares.

Novacoin is another coin on the scrypt, people call it the russian coin. Have to have a look where its situation is, its got a small market cap.

    Yes, parabolic acceleration!
No doubt it will correct at some point.
    The questions are:

    - At which level will it correct? $150? $200? $250?
    - And what will it correct to? $10? $50? $100?

The only thing we know is that no one knows!
Well, I guess as long as people are queuing to get in and pour their cash into BTC, demand will beat what's on offer.
Interesting times, how big can this bubble grow?

This is it pretty much in a nutshell for me.

The demand is MASSIVE. And still is far outweighing the supply.

This goes for both BtC and LtC (and most cryptos at the moment).

RM, have you got a link to some charts for me to see the buy & Sell orders volume?
You mentioned it a couple of times in a previous post.

Cheers & thanks for sharing your thoughts on the topic. Thanks for 1for1 for starting it too :)
