Imagine them holding a SBSS round against a kook? haha, you'd want to be there to take a photo of their faces.

Hey Bron, have you seen the video tour of their state of the art mint? jealous much? you'd have to be nervous wouldn't you?

Yes, we need a sarcasm emoticon. A combination of a sneer and rolleyes I think.

And here I was in our strategic planning session with the executive management giving SBSS as an example of dynamic and niche custom minters that we better watch out for! Should have just stuck to GoldStackers as my example. :p

SBSS against a kook or koala even, like comparing lemon and sugar.
Wicked art, which is a niche in itself, but no good if the quality is not backing it up.
I must say after very close inspection the xag buffalo is a very nicely finished product at a great price.
Art and message play a big part in the niche market, we are going to give ya's all a run! Globally.

haha, well they can't touch the market you're after even if they want to seeing as they have to stamp the Liz on one side of their product.

Anti government/anti bank message on the reverse of a Perth mint coin... does not compute.

The Perth Mint, the standard the world over should use as their yard stick (insert sarcasm icon). Since when have they given a shit about the piddly Australian market.

I'm not shy in saying some of their business decisions suck (privy, remints/restrikes, lunar spam) but their quality (in my opinion) is by far the best in the world.

Cant ague regarding quality but a bit rich sticking their nose in this particular issue, they have as you mentioned enough in house cleaning to attend to if they actually gave a crap, which they don't.

Not to mention better value and easier to transact come 'zombie times'

I'm not so sure the whole SBSS thing will keep seeing the aftermarket premiums we're seeing at the moment for the D&D coin. Strike quality is pretty hit and miss - Slave Queen was bloody ordinary in my opinion and the most in demand are the edgier coins of the series - That D&D "death dealer'' is just out-and-out surreal hehehe. Liberty girl is a nice coin but far from edgy.

I would be happier buying locally struck coins supporting Australian ideals of freedom (as opposed to American) but we'd be the only folks buying them

SBSS have become quite unreliable and plagued with production issues.
