That's right! The owner of my favourite cafe near work loves Perth Mint silver coins. 1oz 2013 Perth Mint Kook in exchange for 10 coffees (she puts my name on the board for 10 coffees and takes off one each time I get a coffee).
Frickin' awesome! Bring it on. Which cafe/suburb? (Please PM if you are worried about the Gubbmint spies reading.)
That is called bartering. Not swapping Silver for coffee is called saving. How much is the coffee if you used fiat?

I'm the same, won't drink instant stuff. Bit of a snob there. If I'm home, we brew our own. If I'm out, I quite like : The purchase of goods and services in the real world with metals though brings a smile to my face when I see it. Anyone remember this one? No comment on G4T, but the process was quite interesting and can be realistically applied in the modern world. I've done a little work for silver before (for Stellaconcepts actually) and he was very happy with the results. I'm a big fan of the concept.
nice to get comfortable and skillful at bartering...just tough giving up me shiney for anything that i could use paper for
As starving Uni Students in a share house we once went shares in a 4 kilo tin of Pablo Instant Coffee (anyone remember Pablo Coffee?...I can't even find a photo of the tin on the web...i think it was yellow with a picture of a cactus wearing a sombrero ) anyway it worked out to something like 20c per cup...but you needed a heaped tablespoon to get any flavour and even then it tasted like mud. We quickly came up with the saying "Life's too short for Pablo" enjoy your coffee...don't scrimp.
I'm with you I admit it .I'm addicted Minim 4 real coffee's for the + 1 instant (Mocona ) first thing in the morning Than of to the bakery for the usual breaky hit
Yes, I figure that if I'm not willing to part with just 1oz in this way, then I'm too attached and its not healthy. I want to save up my shiny, but I don't want to become Gollum either.
