I JUST HAD TO GO TO LUCKMONEYRO SITE TO SEE THIS GOOD WEATHER PEACE AND PROSPERITY MEDAL FOR $600. HE HAS NO MERCY ON US. I CAN NOT QUIT SPENDING ON THESE. I DO NOT HAVE ANY MORE MONEY TO SPEND RIGHT NOW. AND I AM STILL IN HOCK TO HIM FOR $540 OWED. I HAVE BEEN LOOKING AT dtzok and jibi.net and taobao and sent him a wish list of medals. I AM NOT A TYPIST. I TRIED TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO ORDER OFF THESE SITE AND I HAVE THE GOOGLE TOOLBAR TRANSLATE. (IT TAKES FOREVER ON THE Jibi site. I THEN TRIED AN AGENT OBOOK AND THEY SEEMS KIND OF CONFUSED AND SEND ME PAGES OF DISCLAIMERS TO READ. I GOT UNCOMFORTABLE AND DECIDED TO MAKE REQUESTS. MAYBE LUCKMONEYRO CAN BE OUR FRIEND IN CHINA TO SELL US MEDALS WE WANT.

Its like speculating in a startup company except even if your investment crashes and burn, you have a piece of art to enjoy and look at.

Well said my man ... much too often people lose sight of this fact.

I sent the large brass medals to NGC that I got from cepe6po and they are fantastic in those big NGC holders !!!

I love the way that they can be handled, viewed and revered in the NGC holders ... these large medals are very detailed and simply amazing !

Cant wait to see the pics of your finished NGC product :)

I scanned a few examples and have concluded that Luckmoneyro's prices are actually quite reasonable.

    For example:

Dazu Rock Carvings Market Price US$275 Luckmoeyro price $230.00!!!!!

West Chamber/A Dream of Red Mansions Market Price US$216 Luckmoneyro price $220

Bronze Beads Pregnant Beauties Market Price US$175 Luckmoneyro price $160

    Hi Silverfever,

    Allow me to say something.

    1. The price list is for the market price as of 8-Apr-2012 so things could have changed since.

    2. I am not sure about the medal market. I am more interested in the circulation coins. Take a look at this price list - http://www.coin001.com/read.php?tid=11911

1964 1c MS66 - RMB2500. That is $400 or so. Sounds good! One PCGS MS66 sold for $135 recently, and that is because I wanted one I pushed up the price. I didn't win though. I felt lucky now. It is common grade, common coin.

If the price list really reflect the current market, then I am rich! Hahaha. Unfortunately the truth is, it is not.

    3. I will suggest if you like dealing with luckymonero, then you will be happier if you don't justify his price with the price list published by any website in China. I know for sure, China collectors have more sources to buy the medal at lower price than those published price.

I am not surprised at all. You will find that almost all medals produced by official Chinese mints during '80 - '90 has this trend - silver, silver plated, gold gilt and brass/copper. This is true for pagodas, goldfish, gods, scenery, etc etc

NGC will slowly recognize all, if/when there is a push.
