    $26 double bottom For The Win?

    It seems that way with big spikes upwards at each $26 bottom.

    Im still wary of what could happen if/when the stock markets tank again .... we will see ...

    I was right here on my computer with a tab open with APMEX. Ready to pull the trigger but then asked a few friends what they thought and they talked me out of it, saying to wait a few days. I did buy some but not at 26, waited a couple of days and pulled the trigger in the mid to high 27's.

    I need to trust my gut instinct more :)

    Agreed. I bought quite a lot (in my terms, at least) whilst it was under $30/oz and am happy with that.

    I waited and I'm still waiting for sub $20s.
    May never happen but one thing I have learnt is that you never know what will happen but I did buy some gold.

    You've got to average in on the dips if you're worried about it dropping further other wise you are at risk of watching the train leaving the station.

    did not see much sellers around, so can pick up as much as possible as one can do.

    last time peak was 25, now buying 32.5 to 35 is not too far away...while there may be room for it to go down.

    then again there is the waiting post to buy again.

    it matter not when you had bought big time @ 12 then 25, now about 30+

    I was in there buying 20 ozs at a time.My issue is that when ag is $26.50,the premiums add about $3 an oz.So I actually paid over $29 an oz.

    And whilst spot is $31aud you'll probably be able to get $34/oz for it. Thus retaining the premium.

    Splashed out at $28 (at US$0.99/oz premium), then it dropped to $26 and I was kicking myself for buying too soon.

    Still happy with $28 though. By the time postage and packing and handling was added it was about $31

    To be fair VRS it didn't stay around the $26 mark for very long and rebounded very sharply and quickly meaning a lot of people simply didn't have a chance to actually react to the drop as it happened too fast and didn't stay down for long enough meaning they actually didn't have time to buy anything.

    got in @ 28 going up on the first dip then got in @ 28 on the second dip on the way down :p , got a little more powder left.... we'll see :)
