So how many commentators called the top?

Off the top of my head I know of 2

    Stellaconcepts
    Mish

If you know of someone add them to the list. I think there's quite a few PM commentators who were caught flat-footed.

We haven't hit the top, yet.

You should ask, "Who called the drop"

Man, I like this site. Lots of intelligent people here, compared to silverseek forum.

I hope my friend Mighty Moose makes it over here. He left Silverseek last week and said he'd probably join...

He called $50 by April 22, and got dang close. His price predictions have been VERY accurate

Ben Davies, right? Didn't he say "$15 in 5 days"?

There were a bunch of people who said "this is unsustainable bubble!11!!" and then there were those who said "this is the top!" when it was at 33, 36, 40, 45 etc

Basically when you make a bunch of calls for the top, you're bound to be right for one of them.

    True.

I really hate reading articles when the author says 'and we called in in our article last week'
Or: "He said a few days ago we were due for a pullback"

If any articel or site protests this foresite and extra knowledge, i immediately close the page.

    They are idiots.
    Right fishball
    :)

In terms of time give a week or so i know of the three below ...

But by the amount it varied ...

By 1 dollar i know of 1 - Thats Stella - freaking couldnt believe it LOL (few days after it corrected !)
By 5 dollars i know of 1 - Personal friend of mine (he was saying around 45 its going to be farked, he kept it abit longer then me
By 7 dollars i know of 1 - Myself (started of loading at 41,42 expecting this is it)

I was starting to think i made a mistake when it past 45 and the devils metal still didnt correct but i thought fark it, i made money, if it goes to 60 now thats money i lost that i didnt have instead of money i lost that i did have. Thats always comfort to me :)

    LOL You got that right...

The top will come when the USA announces the printing of a new currency.

So until then, keep buying as much as possible

    I havent brought since 1kilo for $1K

I think we should have seen the parabolic blow-off that happened.

As a group, we're always talking about looking for what phase we're in ... trying to "be aware" of what's really going on, instead of being caught up in any hype.

If last Monday is anything to go by, we're all mostly going to take the ride, all the way to the top, and just like all the sheeples, be caught up in the euphoria, and be cleaned up by the smart money, and the few stackers who sound the call (Stella) will go unheard. Again.

We all should be analysing what was happening "around the traps" when it was climbing from 40 thru 48. Because we weren't seeing anything in the mainstream media, we were complacent to what was going on with the bigger guys. We should have been looking at the you-tube vids, the blog commentarys of all our favourites, and recognised the "mini hysteria bubble" we were all in.

Good lord, all the commentators were saying .... "it's gonna keep going up" ... when things were already feeling "crazy" and "light headed" (going from $30-45) in a month, we should have damn well recognised this mini bubble. This obvious correction.

I remember looking at the chart just before easter, thinking i've not seen a chart like this for a while ... where's it heading. Just the craziness of the chart should have been warning enough to take "some" kind of action.

My 2 cents worth. We need to learn from this!!

Yeah, there was person here who tipped 30 as a target on a quick analysis of the GSR chart in the GSR thread. Looking like a very good call in hindsight.

When we were at the Mount Gravatt meeting in mid April and silver was $43 at the time I told at the meeting do not wait for $50 because I see too many people setting that price level as a sell signal.
If you want to sell your silver sell earlier in the 48s

Those who swapped close at 30:1 are now sitting on around 44:1, if premiums were included around 40:1 they should be able to get within 24hrs.

now they could swap the gold back and from 30 have 40 oz now.

around 33% increase in swapped silver stack within 10 days - zero fiat spent + no exposure to fiat
( to buy back the dip )

Exactly the same mate. I stopped buying in the mid 30s and by the time it got to $50 I was sure it was unsustainable. Only different between you and I is, you had the balls to go with your instincts and sell, while I was too lazy and greedy. lesson learnt.

One of the hardest things I ever did to be honest.

Having said that - the easiest thing I've ever done was put a chunk of that into gold ;)
