True hotel 46, calm seas don't make good sailors. Let's recap the past 24 hours: No problem, you were probably mistaken because I had fashioned that leg from the limbo bar from the Christmas Party last year. I thought the new 'chopped' low-profile leg might give me more streeet cred - like Recalcitrant's NSX. But rather than more swash to my buckle I squashed my head in a barrel. Yes, poor Bear had been chained to a melting iceberg for six weeks so Al Gore could film him for his new documentary about his wife, called "An Inconvenient Ruth" Ozama says "Ha! Just tell him he's lucky he didn't meet Navy SEALS" (Oh, and we don't talk about what 'SS' means any more, because you know who said you know what about the you know what-else. Enough said!) And tonight! I think we will need to ride this one out before we set sail for the ports of Afganistan. We can expect a lot more stormy weather tonight. The winds raged all night last night and tonight won't be much better. (Good thing we all brought the brollies though). Things may improve by daylight tomorrow. (I thought I was hearing Maggie's Moggie howling last night, but it was only "Miss Bitsbemissing" snoring in his cabin next door.) Until Later! SPOT : USD $38.58 and falling - but this too shall pass...
What's the predictions tonight lads and ladies? Tossing up whether to order tonight whilst we're at $36AUD or wait to see what tomorrows spot brings and maybe save a few dollars!
Aud $35.23 US $37.53 Is anyone actually selling physical at these prices ? Private or dealer, or are they restocking ? When we hit landfall can we find more ballast, or will we have to fill the hold with bonds, stocks and maybe a printing press or two ? Questions captain, questions !
Just been checking the charts. I was hoping this gale would begin to subside by tonight, but it's still blowing. Better reef those sails and break out the board games in the main saloon tonight. This aint't sailing weather. Errol 43 - throw down the second anchor - see if that holds things a bit. We will probably cross paths with good old Berg 36 by morning. That's been their destination all along - and they are determined to get there. Fortunately those bars in the hold don't really care at all about what's going on topside. They're just sitting there, pretty as can be, gleaming in the dusky light. One of the bars whispered to me: "Remember - if they can do this to REAL money - imagine what they will do to paper bills when that time eventually comes." My hands trembled at these words. So break out the Monopoly - and don't forget Twister. Maggie - can you take a pound of beeswax down to Dr Karlov later? He asked for it earlier this afternoon - didn't say why. Back to me charts below! This is nice too: http://jessescrossroadscafe.blogspot.com/2011/05/cme-announces-third-margin-increase-for.html SPOT : USD $37.64 and falling slightly
Fear not, my stout hearted mateys...we are watching a brilliant magic show All the big 'sell' bars I see in the charts look eerily like a helicopter, (Benny's?), with a wicked witch throwing out piles of paper with 'silver' written on them... and the poor starving masses are scooping them up like so much real money...sad really, I think they'll be mightily peeved to find they can't actually get any REAL shiny money with them :/ some of the more fleet of foot amongst us may get a little more pretend money out of these shenanigans, but do they really think this charade can continue....me thinks not! Hold fast, stay straight and true...the world belongs to the strong hands (real silver, not paper promises of 'full faith and trust' lol...sound familiar?) US$37.65 and fighting back...
