You think so? Year end production numbers had silver supply really ramped up in 2019 because of more mining but more importantly a significant jump in mining efficiency. Gold supply, mining and recycling, was pretty much flat year on year even through producers had ample time to react to rising price.
My guess is as good as yours, but my position is unique, before I started buying PM, I'm 90% cash, the other 10% equities. Silver is still better than cash.
Lol. You still holding a grudge against Silver?. It's not Silvers fault that you bought at the top in 2011 Edit : Nearly 10 years ago..... 10 years!!!
i didnt buy in the peak of 2011 and im ahead on my silver purchases overall but if you include lost opportunity costs and the fact every single other asset class has done so much better silver is incredibly shit
Have a sale! If you don’t like it, don’t own it. There’s plenty on people on the forum who’ll be interested in picking silver up from you if you think it’s such a bad thing. And then, you can use the proceeds to pump into the other asset classes you have. You win since you’re ahead overall, we get more silver, and nobody has to hear you whine anymore
Absolutely, hindsight always offers the best returns I've lost so many opportunities I've stopped caring.
I can relate to Court Jester. Owning silver is a bit like religious self flagellation. In our hearts we have kept the true faith(silver is money mantra) but we endure the pain because the pain will make us stronger(richer).
I'm quite sure that to more than half of us here, 10 years ago, isn't that long ago? Only last year I sold a stock that I held for nearly 20 years, the price dropped like 99% - company went through many dilutions. I decided to sell it even though the proceeds barely covered the fees.
Something that might work for silver now is an aerosol disinfectant. Has it been done and tested? Killing flies this way is popular and great for pyrethrum farmers. Maybe it is time for a mask, hand sanitiser and surface spray range using our favourite metal, given the new pathogen.
There are silver based disinfection sprays but they are not cheap, around $30-$40 for a bottle. Bleach and alcohol based ones cost $10-15 for the better ones.

"Diversify your stack...stack old phone books. That or get inventive....and brave.". Don't laugh you young-uns, that is what we used in RESERVOIR Victoria. in the 1960's. It was a slippery surface for a sanitary problem. YUK, UGH. memories. On a lighter note Stackers we need STRONG HANDS @ this time.
