I have my Self manage superfund with them. RSM are dogs and are lying can't be trusted. i have full records and an ATO audit every year with my superfund., Its ironic the ATO shuts down Perth Bullion, RSm take all the physical, then ATO will audit my SMSF and I won't have it, but they will! ATO are the criminals not Perth Bullion, they were very organised, I saw my box and records RSM are lying. Can we create a group of some sort with all of us stung by satan here and proceed with legal action together?
10 am First Saturday of August out front if the shop. Alternatively we can do a Skype group, someone PM me their Skype address and I am happy to set up (needs at least one other to start the group) Who is interested?
Count me in. I would suggest having a telegram group if anyone is able to set one up. That way we can stay in contact through our phones.
I am, but I'm in Melbourne, so Skype will be the only option I have. This will also be helpful for people who travel, they'll still be able to attend. Can we PM in this forum?? (I'm obviously new to it)
I'm looking into setting a dedicated online site for SDB holders - Given the large amount of individuals affected (and many of those are obviously not SS members), I think we need a more central place which we can ultimately advertise to affected parties to register. PM me if you are a SDB holder - I will notify all of you as soon as it's online. In the meantime happy to meet up as suggested so we can start to plan next steps.
I've lost over $1100 from these pricks and there's people that have lost much more than that. I haven't recieved any email responses from the online forms I've submitted and now no one is answering calls from RSM! I feel like I'm dealing with a bunch of thieves and vultures!!!
Are we talking about PB or RSM? If RSM, I'm curious as to their motive in making it difficult for everyone (sayings theres no records, not answering calls etc). Would you say its pure incompetence or ulterior motivations? I'm trying to think what RSM would gain here.
To me this whole thing highlights the importance of using the Perth Mint deposit program, it's government guaranteed. No need to worry about a private company going broke etc. "But if the government has my gold they can just take it!" I hear people saying. Yeah, sure, minuscule chance compared to a private company going broke or corrupt or whatever. And if they can take your gold they can also lock down your private SDB too, no company will fight a court or government order to do that. And you'd be able to see such an event coming with plenty of time to get your metal out.
I have records from many of my transactions on my bank statement including the most recent purchase on July 2nd that was transferred to the old account of Perth Bullion. I also have screenshots as proof! What more do I need to prove in order to get what is legally mine???
If it's your life savings in there I'd go over there and knock on the door personally. But I wouldn't be hugely worried, the contents of the SDB are yours legally, you'll get it eventually, liquidation takes time and they probably have thousands of inquiries. And if it turns out the contents are missing then someones going to jail.
This part should be simple for the liquidators, let people turn up with their keys and if it opens the box numbered on it, then the contents is yours, sign here as taken Sir.
Wow, so they had a tax debt of $2M, no wonder they had to shut down. Such a company wouldn't just have that laying around in cash.
"such communication should be ignored" Umm, they should report that to the police!, not ignore it. Someone is trying scam them. I believe the federal police handle such matters?
In this case ... The government HAS taken your gold. Only it is hidden via PB as scape goat. When you go back and look at the actual claim against them, and how spurious it was, it is ridiculous. When challenged on the claim, the ATO dropped 75% of the claim and had another go. If even the ATO admit that 75% of their claim is BOGUS, how much can you rely on the other 25%. You can't... The ATO sent a good business to the wall, with no consideration for the damage they are doing to everyday citizens.
