Free ride! At some point a winner must emerge in the practical transaction stakes. None of the Bitcoins variants seem to be in the running for that, so it'll be one of the other alt coins.
Though IOTA did take advantage of people that don't do any research and went along with it. They made no attempt to correct it and say they have no real partnership with anyone. I never understood how people really thought they had big name partnerships considering how buggy their software is. I must admit though, i got sucked IOTA early on and was hopeful they would get it all working. Turnout out to be all hot air, like with 99% of cryptos. Now people are getting sucked into Cardano.
Come on mate i really thought better of you. Wording is all anyone has to go by so it makes sense that wording should be clear and accurate. Under your interpretation of "partnership" then you could make the claim everyone has a partnership with everyone, if all it means is you had the slightest oversight or input. As you said "collaborator or participator" would have been a MUCH better choice of words and i think everyone would agree with that. A bug means something that doesn't work as intended. IOTA isn't working as intended atm. Simple, don't complicate things. This might change one day, but it is what it is atm.
Ill eat a Snickers and stop being cranky. I just get a bit fired up sometimes with all the madness in the crypto space. I need to learn to let it go and just accept things are what they are. Funny that i was liking IOTA before anyone was really talking about it here and now everyone is talking/liking it, I'm not liking it. I just found it wasn't going to work as a payment method that will overcome other crypto currencies scaling issues. Also once i saw IOTA was just focusing on connecting all devices rather then payment transfer, it turned me away. I hate the idea of everything being connected and every device trying to suck as much data about how i use things.
Every time I look into a new crypto be it blockchain, DAG, POW or POS they all have the same story. Some new benefits and some new disadvantages but overall never better in real world. Byteball has some good ideas, but like with most i think they spend to much time thinking in theory and less on reality. Never heard of RaiBlocks, so can't comment.
no deal, prices still rising so not based on logic https://thenextweb.com/hardfork/2017/12/12/iota-partnership-microsoft-marketplace/
there is no logic, good projects with good fundamentals are losing out to shitcoins, i expect this trend to continue.
i think you will find it was iota that issued the press release and intentionally misled the media to think microsoft deployed sensors and sold data on their marketplace, not the other way around.
just presenting the facts, looks like price has reacted again on the news. it pays not to get too emotional when investing.
i am actually an ai bot pointed at silverstakers to test turing completeness, so no emotion disclose i still hold a small amount of iota and plan to hold long term, not trading this on speculation as no working wallet, cant move it off exchange.
was not intentional but can see how it could be interpreted that way good to see they are trying to clear the fud, i expect the deal to go ahead just thought the previous announcement was misleading albeit by the media.
So they purchased some IOTA tokens? What's the big deal, what am i missing? I wouldn't really call this news as other companies have already been purchasing IOTA so they can have a play. Until they say they are integrating it into their products then it's just marketing. Anyway why would anyone want their toaster, fridge, washing machine etc.. to be connected to the internet? Companies are substituting good ideas and inventions these days with useless gimmicks.
What is a "significant amount"? Might not be as much as you think. Very subjective word. That sounds horrible to me. But I'm the person that still likes to drive to the shops and buy in person Considering how hit and miss the quality is these days in supermarkets, I don't trust some under paid kid to pick my fruit, vegetables and meat. Anywho i mainly buy from local places, where they wouldn't offer this terrible service.
