One of the coolest sights I've ever personally seen is shelves like the ones in that photo, but holding pallets stacked with kilo gold bars - about 300kg of yellow per pallet. First time I'd been in a room that literally held tonnes of gold. Occasionally you get to go into neat places and see neat things when you're in the trade. Once you've moved more than a couple of them, you come to hate 1000oz silver bars pretty quick.
Interesting way of looking (and feeling) about gold versus silver I wonder if the sweat from moving gold is worth more than moving silver..At least you got to see the precious stuff ,en masse. Good stuff
They must have accumulated a huge wearhouse stacked full of silver because they know there is an extreme silver shortage...
You know you're a serious stacker when... ... as soon as your wife's away for a few weeks, you spend all your disposable income on silver in the hope she won't notice, then realise you are getting hungry, can't really afford to go out, and spend the evening searching the Internet for instructions on how to cook the stuff you have left in the fridge
SilverPete....looks like you will break the 10,000 posts milestone this coming week....if not sooner. I'll drink a virtual beer here in the forum to congratulate you for that accomplishment! .
You know when you're seious when your wife asks you to "realise" your profits from shares. So you sell off the profit and use the proceeds to "realise" some free bullion. You then buy her some flowers in the hope that she doesn't "realise" what you've done.
