I've been watching a lot of ducktales on youtube this week. I am not watching it just for nostalgic reasons, but in some episodes, there are some nuggets of wisdom on how to amass wealth. Scrooge has so many characteristics of a true entrepreneur, a reflection of Andrew Carnegie. Many episodes are about how can Scrooge get wealthy while taking his nephews on adventures. A cartoon that seems so innocent is pretty educational when it comes to finance. He travels to places like Klondike, Malaysia, Tralala, etc. "Work harder not smarter." - Scrooge McDuck From episode: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5AWD7RSBi8U Inflation principles: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t_LWQQrpSc4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S2BUYT6cQrc Here are some written lessons from scrooge: http://beginnersinvest.about.com/od/investinglessons/a/Scrooge_McDuck.htm The episodes are always about wealth, so a few of them, they use real economic principles. Give ducktales a chance if you have never seen it. Like Scrooge always says, "G-G-G-G-G-Gold!!!!!!"
