Depends if something better comes along.

At the moment, that doesn't seem likely in the short term but I've dumped investments before for that reason.

Holding only until I do not need to.

Read that any way you want.

I have a lot of 5 oz cast gold bars and quiet honestly they leave me cold. I would much sooner pick up a 100oz silver bar they really feel like $4000 +.

But golds gold. it will always be worth much more. The currency of kings. The bottom lines sure looking rosie at the moment compared to what i paid.

Gold is like the $50 note that you found one day under a book, behind a shelf, in the spare room and decided to leave there just in case you ever really needed it.

If i were to find the $50 note somewhere in my home, behind a shelf in a book - id buy myself a German Thaler from the 19th century and put it back in that book and leave it there just in case i ever needed it.

    :D

I hope that i can stay stacker all my life so i don't need to look for stocks or other products to purchase/sell/invest my savings . But from experience i also know taht profit is moving from one type of businesses to other , so untill i find something better i will stay with gold, but always will try to keep few/couple/dozens of oz for children's to teach them about gold beauty.

Not any time soon but I don't plan on having children and its useless to me when I'm dead so I'll probably use it as a means to a luxurious retirement so I can live my final years worry free in comfort. Of course something better may come along between then and now as I'm not even 30 yet.

The moment i bought my first gold coin, i was emotionally attached to it.
The colour, the weight, every single thing about it just hooked me into to buying more.
and when i started to learn more about investing in these precious metals, i knew that this was a great! way to make money.

And now, i can't let go of it, it will always be holding its value and is a great way to invest your money in, i just can't walk away from it.
This gift! from earth has enticed me to hold on to it forever, no matter if i run out at one stage, i will always go back for more. :)

For me, whilst gold is pretty, it is just a commodity which will one day be used as a vehicle to get me what I want/need.
