why so small mintages for this Bars Coins are they real sleeper?

    mintages could be so small cause no one wants em and may not want em in the future

    Yeah not a very popular series. Funny I think they are a nice looking series but just don't have that must have appeal I suppose ?

    They are the victim of a mintage to small to generate popularity.. to me the best way to esb a following is to have a higher mintage intilally and then cull it down (& or vice versa) so more are being demanded than being produced. But if its not HOT its hard for it to ever get HOT

    The Koalas are a good example.. inital low mintages 07, 08 and 09 .. now they are limitless which is creating more market awareness.. when/if people do try to get the previous dates this should create an excess demand over supply until the price is driven up to an equilibruim D/S level

    yeah I have a ned kelly coin which is 1000 mintage but noone not even ebay likes it :(

    They were a mint on demand I think and given that they cost double or more what a silver coin cost people just didn't buy them I guess.

    They seem nice to me and maybe they will catch on for collectors one day. Haven't checked for a while but I some time back the 2009 was hard to come buy on ebay for a good price.
