Valued at $4 per pound, seems to sell for a little bit over $2 per pound.

    Thanks for any thoughts!

Anyone know how much a refinery pays for it? Couldn't you sell it to a business/refinery who uses copper? Do they only pay $2 or so for it, and that explains the ebay price?

    here there everywhere
In OZ SIMS (the biggest metal recycler )
spot is just under $1k a tone
    they pay 60%.About $6 a kg ,about $3 a pound
you get less if you take it to smaller recyclers

hmm, have you taken the postage into account?

but copper for half of its intrinsic value is a good buy !
