The dude who is in control of the gold and silver price talks in Michigan. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2013-...minimize-asset-bubble-concern-at-meeting.html
He is control of nothing except his printing press. He is in control of the illusion maker. We should rename him Bernanke the magician - it is all an illusion. In the short term for you traders it may be of interest but in the long term for us the investors and savers he is all smoke and mirrors.
Comments such as "the fed is by noway out of ammunition" coupled with "as far as I know, there are no new tactics that have not already been tapped" sounds like the handbrake failed & they are running out of road, never mind the wheels falling off.
talking Ben into buying silver, the FED Open mouth policy  is the power of talking at works here ?
"I believe we have all the tools we need to undo our monetary policy" Like what? Tanks and bombs and drones to prevent foreign nations dumping your bonds and keep the bubble afloat?
Not sure if I'm stating the obvious... but him being in charge of the printing press thereby puts him in charge of the prices of the metals (to a large degree at least).
Its interesting to note the vitriol towards this fella. I dont think you all appreciate what hes done for you to-date and what he will do for you in the future
Not only that, but the guy is very clever and successful. The only reason people think he is a idiotic failure is the fail to see what his end goal is. All in all I can see him accomplishing his goal and that is why I stack. Bush jnr is another classic example of people believing what they hear and failing to believe what they see.
Destroying the Western world, depriving hard working people of their savings, destroying business - yes he has done a lot for us. More to come - I can't wait. You can have all the gold, silver and money in the world and it will mean nothing when people no longer care. The next danger is the rise of megalomaniacal tyrants who offer solutions. Yes we have a lot to thank Ben and his bankers for.
Yep he'd make a good straight man in a comedy duo . Im sure with the amount of money he's paid & benefits he has i would too .
I'm thanking him for the chance to build a stack with the time he is delaying the inevitable crash. I have only woken from my young nieve single male world of living pay check to pay check relative recently (post gfc1.0) without helecopter bens raft of unconvential tools I would have been up the creek without a paddle. Thanks to Ben if tomorrow was the day it all ended I'd be in a considerably better position. I am full steam ahead, stacking and learning valuable skills that will help me when it all eventually comes to a head. So as much as we all disagree with his combination of stated objectives and methods. His actual objectives of kicking the can and his methods are easy to appreciate as long as we don't get tricked into believing he will ever succeed in actually fixing the broken model. the best we can hope for is that he buys us time, and that he is doing remarkably effectively. Thanks Ben
