Hi gents, I'm looking at getting into trading, however google is so full of info I don't really know where to start. Would anyone be able to point out somewhere where I can learn the basics? Thanks in advance!
Start by putting your money in an envelope and sending it to me. That is the feeling you will get when the bankers/brokers etc take your money in fees/brokerage/rigged markets/false tips etc etc. Seriously, just best of luck. Try paper trading first and include brokerage in each trade. I think the ASX has a paper trade game each year. I don't know when it starts but there is no reason you couldn't track it yourself.
Watch the back catalogue of slipstream trader on you tube ( and i mean all of em!) have a read/watch through this web site there is a language you need to learn - but way is to hear people use it on instruction videos. http://www.swing-trade-stocks.com/technical-analysis-videos.html I recomend getting the DVD board game "Call up, Put Down" and play it over and over and over again!
