it's enough to annoy the hell out of you.
it's not something I could keep myself,
i'd cut my losses just to clear it out of my collection.

if i was that way inclined, i would sell it off as the real deal and hope the buyer didn't notice and just put it away.
this is clearly what coined did.

but it backfired and he must be a real dumbo as the question was asked from day one, what is the condition?
dumbo didn't stop to think this guy will check the coin.

to stop the rot dumbo posts and admits dumboism,
but really, what it did was stop a whole heap of dumbo talk. dumbo has time to figure a way out, but there's only one way, take back the coin, but dumbo was so happy to cull that coin from his collection.

Whether it be coins, cards, stamps, whatever, I don't think dumbo realises that things like this stick like mud, it creates a mini bad karma towards that person, when they arrive in forums, people will just go quiet for no reason, they will sense bad karma, and they'll look around and see dumbo sitting in the corner with a pocket full of dodgy dimes.

Very well said. There is also more to this story which I will let someone else explain if they want to. Lets just say it's not the first time this has happened.

    Done
    Judge Dread will be there
I need both the 10oz bar & the 5o coin to pass judgement
10oz bar goes back to its original owner while I slip the coin in my pocket :D
Not to early though about 10am when there's plenty of people there

Well I'm in the middle of a trade with coined and this has just made me nervous and disabling his trade feedback hasn't helped with my confidence!

I think the weight of public opinion on this matter is that the coin is clearly not as described, and certainly not in collectible condition, and Garnet has been financially disadvantaged as a result of the trade.

As a collector of silver Lunar coins, that scratch destroys the numismatic value of the coin and reduces it to bullion - these are encapsulated coins that should never degrade from brilliant uncirculated condition (toning aside) unless removed from the capsule. That coin looks like it's been stored loose and allowed to have other coins rub against it.

The outcome I would like to see here is the trade reversed - happy to act as an escrow agent in this matter for both parties to mail their items to so that the exchange can be fairly conducted in good faith.

    Still here,
Just watching the hype. Thankfully, I have another job that keeps the cash rolling in.. Looks like silver will not be my saviour!
Will still have my say soon.
As always there are two sides to a story. Many of you, I've traded with. And all was good.
    Stay tuned.
