I bolted a new cutting edge on last week and ive replaced the 5 worst hydraulic hoses so far. Those are dang expensive to have made. Its been doing great here at home but a few other things need fixed and adjusted. It will be a work in progress for awhile but a good machine overall.
I headed out this morning to my claim and a good excuse to hit the lcs in Salida. He didnt have much for cheap stuff, mostly graded numi junk in plastics but i got 92 half dollars, mostly Ben Franks with a few 64 JFK'S and a scratched up 96 Eagle. I already dropped the Eagle in the dirt moving my chair. I was going to pass on the halves but they were the right price as was the wounded Eagle. Its all ounces. And a pretty pic of Mt Shavano as i was driving in.
Had a little time waiting on the crew today so made a quick stop. I only had 62 bucks but he actually took that paper for this 2 oz skull and 6 Mercury dimes. I wish i had more $$ with me because he has other skulls of different sizes and they are $25 an oz. Seems cheap but he said he just wants to sell them. Another good day!
Heres the 2 3 5 and 10 oz altogether, minus the one oz. A buddy at work asked me what the coin shop had and i showed him the 2 oz skull and dimes. He insisted to loan me the cash for the set but he wanted the 1 oz skull so i said hellzz yeah! Id probably never find that again and without cash in the bank i was shit outta luck so he bailed me out haha. I told him i might not be back to work on Monday hehe.
By the time we got back to town he decided i should have the one ouncer and not break it up so i happily took it. And there was a 10 gramer waiting when i got home from Apmex. Stackin and packin yep.
Harrison warranted gold sovereign and half sovereign scale, brilliantly simple in concept and still works great. Will be my go to tool to quickly check sovs and half sovs. Arrived recently all the way from the UK.
A nice low premium lucky dip pick up from my local bullion dealer. I was expecting a Kangaroo or possibly an AGE, quite chuffed with a S2 Lunar Proof
2 x 20 foot containers on the way. Not exactly a precious metal but for storage and a small shop they will work great for a temporary man cave. Now for a woodstove and some pipe, some solar for lighting and power, maybe even a window? My wife may not see me till spring!
I only bought 2 but they are 20ft long, sorry for the confusion. They are "one trip" almost new condition for $6500 each. The older ones are $1500 less but are between 7- 20 years old and beat up. They arent cheap but should last a lifetime and a garage isnt in my budget yet unfortunately. The funny part is they are almost exactly the same size as the skoolie we live in haha.
