Looking for opinions of what the following might be valued at?

Series 1 mouse picture side say 2008, queen's head says 2007. (Queen looks to have a scuffed cheek, but rest of coin looks to be perfect) still in capsule.

Kilo mouse 2008 series 2. ? Lets go with the assumption they won't be reminted for now, please. I know the mint has left themselves a little window to do it.. Let's leave that discussion to the other threads where it's already been raised.

IMHO if any reminting does happen it would be the top 3 lunars dragon, Tiger, Horse/(Snake??). Perthmint will want volume to do a remint so IMHO s2 RAT is out

    This reminting practice is crap!
I would spew if they reminted the mouse 3 coin proof set which sells at a very high premium because they only minted 380.... Until they mint the rest.
    I actually take offence!

Pull up your socks PM! This not only affects me but EVERYONE that collects PM stuff. That means your US & European customers that you hold so dearly over your own countrymen!

In 2008 PM finished off S1 1oz Ag set by minting multiple years as a catch up. It gets confusing. Cant find relevant links sorry. But they look dodge but are legit..

If we assume (not a good word) that mice will not be reminted (not even a word?) then the low mintage means very high premiums. But.. People are scared that a remint will occur.

What is the mintage so far on the kilo mouse ?
On the PM mintage page it says 'TBD'

How can you know how scarce it is without any mintage to date ?

Without too much thought, I'd stay away from the kilos unless you're getting them stupid cheap. They can make them for the next 6 years at any time, all they need is a decent sized order from a distributor and you can kiss any kind of premium goodbye.

Yes, I believe there is provision to remind kilos. Yet, Ive asked them and have emails stating they wont but, Lets just imagine for the sake of speculation PM won't.. What would one be worth?
And the series one 2oz? (With the two dates, 07 & 08)?
    Figures anyone?

    Hi guys,
I read your posts about it but.. Yumai & all the ladies at the billion counter tell me No No No!!
Guess it is up to BB or another dealer to put in the request using volume if the legislation allows it. Just like the 1oz kooks.
We should not want remints, it kills premiums. Robs numis collectors who ARE the people who buy these products & shuffles key date position. After many people spent time to research mintage, used effort to sourse & acquire, spent fiat to accumulate then to have that premium lost because of PM's very new "remint" habits.

What's next? Perth Sov's? 1933 Golden Double Eagles? 1930 Penny?!

What if they start reminting (that is not in this years dictionary! Maby next?) varieties? 10xSuperclouded Claw BIN on eBay for $199!! I'm getting angry, it goes against everything that I hold dear.

I'll bet you an ounce of silver that come 2019 some of the big dealers in Germany and maybe the U.S. will put in orders for the previous 11 years worth of kilos so they can sell them as sets.

Regarding lunars, since the start of the lunar series 2, they quote clearly state that then can:
    * Remint 1oz lunars up to max of 300,000 until the end of the series
    * Remint 1kg lunars (no limit) until the end of the series
    * Not remint 1/2oz,2oz,5oz,10oz once the mintage is declared closed each year

So if someone is paying a premium for 1kg series 2 lunars, then they are taking a massive gamble that (like Big AD says) someone doesn't place a massive order for these 1kg lunars and get them reminted. It's there in black and white.

If you want to use "effort to source and acquire" lunars, look to those that cannot be reminted.

Now, putting out privy versions of 1oz lunars is a whole other topic ..... but standard lunar bullion is clear.

    Fair call.
If they clearly state mintage (they do) & do not reach it for some 1oz Bullion, 1/2 1 2 Proof Lunar then it is up to demand.
I will wait for the S2 Mouse 3 coin proof set (mintage 380) to be finished off but I still feel sorry for ppl who didn't wait.
I guess it isn't a remint but a.. Top up of mintage?
Hope they don't do it for S1Proofs & Bu (will they?)
