Been inspired for a while by you guys so i decided to make some vids myself.
Thanks for sharing the vid I enjoyed it. And get some cotton gloves they will save you a lot of hassles when you come to sell. You can still play with your coins but wont devalue them if you wear cotton gloves.
Aside from cotton, you could also pick up a box of these.. They also make air-tites / acrylic capsules for 1-oz coins/rounds/bars. Not much money, especially when purchased in bulk. Fondling your poured bars with bare hands are okay, but I always wipe 'em down afterward with a soft microfiber cloth. Oils from your hands/fingers are not good for silver. And even with gloves on, only hold them at the edges -- never the face of the coin/round. And welcome!
I have the nitrile gloves from work, im a lab tech so ill just use those for now until i get some cotton, thanks for watching and the valuable advice.
And if any fingerprints pop up, please don't try to rub them away. Will only make things worse. A coin dip like this (available at Apmex/Provident?) might help, followed by a distilled-water rinse, carefully patted with a microfiber cloth, then allowed to air-dry..
If you like the prospector 1oz bars their 1oz round looks much better. Get one to keep your 5ozer company
