I haven't been to the previous launches, although the main post says launch is at 8am. I will be there at 7:45am, just outside the front gate "early admission into the mint at 8am" from the main post by Ben
Last year someone had a clipbaord with a bunch of names to tick off outside before gate entry. Pretty simple, can't miss it.
Probably best to be there by 4am - people who aren't on the list queue for about 500m down Hay St. It's crazy - like an iPhone launch. Get there early to avoid the punchups when people think you're queue-jumping at 7:55am.
Arrived in Perth today. had a good look around found a proof tiger S2 been looking for one for a while If anyone is around on Sunday let's try and meet up
And somebody tried to get in without being on the list last year & more than one  And for a laugh go to the shop across the road
Will you be over your jet lag by then? Am arriving tomorrow afternoon but have commitments already in the evening. If you're up at 6am on the Monday there might be a pissed off Adelaidean on Hay St wondering why he's been there by himself for two hours - buy him a coffee.
lol... i have to pull a sickie. So whats involved in the limited launch party??? A presentation on the coins design?? free food and silver? Im guessing SilverStackers wont be the only guys apart of this early release party right?
I will probably get there at 6.30 , avoiding peak hour traffic on the freeway ,if anyones there beforehand just post what coffee shop you are at and we can all meet up there. Been to the mint so many time but yet still dont know what coffee shops are around If no one posts i will probably walk up and down the queue waiting for someone to pull me up for jumping in
Hijack can somebody from Melbourne drive this back for me (and pay for it  ) http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/280949048559?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 Hint hint CK company race car
is it fair to say the list price reference for tomorrow morning will be as we see it now on the Perth Mint Website? $39.90 and $1712? http://www.perthmintbullion.com/au/
The mint doesn't increase it's price outside of hours. Since spot increased significantly after close on Friday I think it will be little more. Unless spot opens very weak. It will be around about there though.
We have 2-3 hours trading before we purchase. There is a risk it may go higher from Eastern traders with low volume trade. It is unlikely to fall.
Last year the prices were frozen for the first hour as there was quite a bit of trading volatility. The prices shown on the bullion website are the same premiums as available over the counter.
