    Hello Friends of Ag!

For I am a new member on this platform, please let me briefly introduce myself.

I am stacking Silver currently but randomly collecting SILVERCOINS since childhood.
My collection started with an Austro-Hungarian "THERESIEN TALER" in 1989, cost me a little fellas fortune back then ;)
Now I am absolutely in to POURED SILVERBARS...

Have followed the posts on this forum over a certain time and got lots of new inputs and nice pictures of WONDERFUL poured silver bars!
My focus in on bullion silver for diversification of the portefeuille and a good amount of MISCHIEF into the current MONETARY SYSTEM,
but my heart is that of a HUNTER GATHERER who loves trophies.

So I enjoy the threads from you SilverStackers allover the Planet!

    Kind regards

    Danny

Hi and welcome to the forum!

It has taken me a long time to get interested in bars and I still haven't bought many. I still like coins best.

    Hi Jislizard,
Same here, have been collecting Coins and junk silver for over 25 years until I discovered bars (NOT the waterholes whom I have discovererd ages ago...)
There are some nice vintage PM bullions knocking around.
By the way I have spent several years in VIC and QLD in childhood, not aware of Silver back then ;)

Love 19th Century European coinage. I was looking an an old silver 5 Lira with King Vittorio Emanuele II on it the other day and Shellys poem came to mind

I met a traveller from an antique land
Who said: Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desert. Near them on the sand,
Half sunk, a shatter'd visage lies, whose frown
And wrinkled lip and sneer of cold command
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
Which yet survive, stamp'd on these lifeless things,
The hand that mock'd them and the heart that fed.
And on the pedestal these words appear:
"My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:
Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!"
Nothing beside remains: round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare,
The lone and level sands stretch far away.

    Hi and welcome!

I'm also from Switzerland btw, I also have some silver but mostly gold (bars and coins). My primary focus when it comes to collecting is currently on gold, though I also buy silver coins (usually bullion) and on occasion silver bars, from time to time.

    Greetings,
    Antony

    Hi,
Interesting Youtube uploads! Was flabbergasted by the real estate prices around BNE where I spent a year in 2009. In Mining towns it probably was (is) even more volatile.
    Like to hear genuine Aussie-slang!

SwissSilverstar and I met today, I sold him two silver bars of mine and we talked a lot about old coins, silver and gold bullion coins, and other interesting subjects.

    My feedback:
SwissSilverstar is a good and very friendly trading partner and stacker, and I can highly recommend him to anyone who wants to trade with him!

    Thanks again SS! :)
