    Hi kids!

    I live about 30 minutes from the Scottsdale Silver mint.
    Well, at least the address they give on their website. They likely manufacture someplace else.

    Do you think there's a chance they'll give me a tour if I ask? I'd love to see where they do the pours and stamp out rounds.

    Is that something mint's do? Or is it a hands off / security / no visitors allowed sort of industry.

    If they did do tours it would most likely be on their website. But it never hurts to call

    Bah, I just called. They don't do tours for security and insurance reasons. I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up.

    Why don't you ask for a job there? at least then you can see and do something there.
