    They have suspended sales,
Due to overwhelming demand from customers and the inability of vendors and suppliers to meet quantity and quality requirements, etc etc.
They have a QUALITY issue thats for sure.

Nahh ya dont suspend sales unless there is an issue.
Even if running behind you can put a notice on your product eg (2 week delay).
    It will be the quality.

ok well over at provident you can still stick 10 thousand of these puppies (BU)
in the basket... can you checkout?

so what does this all mean for the quality of what is being sold over at provident?

Watch the vid on their website and see those babys fly out the press, down the chute and into a bucket.
Would any silverstacker here drop their coins on each other like that?? Or treat their coins like that??
Wont matter where you buy them, they are all minted at the same place.

They should have a tank at the end where they land full of pure Tasmanian water

    truthnevertold utube channel new video
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rec9JipmMnM

4 new designs on the backburner

one of the comments from truthnevertold (by the way this is probably the worst handle i could think of)
@xcvsdxvsx the price is right there is too many weak links in the supply chain. The Mint has made huge investments and we are looking to sell much more volume not become a high end niche brand.

in the video speaker says once production resumes they'll be the final month of Freedom girl
so I sent him a message as to whether he really meant 2013 freedom girl? he was quick to respond
that Freedom girl 2013 is what was intended...

    i asked on the following:

thanks for being specific and clarifying because there is controversy about this issue... one of the biggest reasons confusion persists is because you don't point out on your SBSS website that 2013 FG... will be separate from FG 2014, 2015 etc... are you going to update your site to this effect?

i have no earthly idea if he will respond back to this question... you know i bought some of these dang FGs i'd really like to know what I bought
starting to feel like a sucka... if they'd just be ultra clear on their site everthing gets nipped in the ole bud but that's just my old school way of thinking

these better be some kick ass designs coming out or zero incentive to build the set is all i got to say I'M OVER IT!

I left a message on that video that says they need to at least have the coins hit a conveyor belt instead of a bucket, they conveyed to someone that can tube or flip em. Maybe have 2 or 3 people at the end of the belt........ When they come back, im sure sales will be off the chain. Provident carries the brand and once they have the machine set up to produce faster, I bet Apmex will be next. Freedom girl is doing great and still doesn't have an end date. People say that SBSS might be shooting themselves in the foot, but I really don't think so. They have clear nearly a million dollars gross in 5 months! as they get better equipment, they may be able to lower their premium if sales slow. Im sure they could move plenty of their designs at .99-$1.49 over spot if their sales started to slip..............I don't see how they could fuck this up. Then again, im new to PM and coins in general so maybe this happens all the time..... do medallion/coin companies pop up all the time and run their course?

Their minting costs would be in that price range.

I like the series and will get all of the first lot. If the quality improves will like them more.
Have SBSS become a part of the system they despise? Cranking them out for big cash turnover?

I think those that have the first series will be ok. Second series will be like comparing S1 and S2 lunars, with the same design different date who knows where it will go.
People that have full sets of the first series will do very well.
At least at this stage if it aint scratched and dented it aint genuine!

We have just taken Delivery of Slave queen and freedom girl, and they are the worst quality yet. Shocking.
Freedom girl artwork came out very well on the round tho, looks cool.
Have one slave queen scratched so bad (fresh out of the tube) it has to go in the clearance bin.
I hope their little break is concentrated on improving quality by 100%.
