You're ignoring that the wealthy person is only wealthy because they have beneficially helped others in society far more than the poor person. What does charity have to do with any of this? Yes, there are people on this forum who would take a ten year old savings. These immoral thievers are typically socialists who claim they take the money for "the greater good" or some such nonsense.
