    2. Tiger
    3. Mouse
    4. Ox
    5. Rabbit
    6 Snake

Pretty good valuations, though I would say the rabbit would be 42-45.

Ok.. thats a decent price.. ill wait till BB or BM move prices down before i drop anchor... i never got through the PM b4 last years drag realase and have since decided nothing could make me trade direct with them due to there foolish policies .. like dropping the Snake Price by $6 per ounce when everyone has just piled in.. reminiscint of Dragon Lunars... Kook Remints.. LOL.. the madness rollercoaster keeps getting more tracks

If anyone is getting some snakes Direct from the PM, i would like to join you to share postage.. i can pay up front but dont have a Bullion National Ciziten Papers from the PM so unable to order myself..

They pulled the 10 pp limit i hear so restrictions dont any longer seem to be an issue!

Otherwise ill just wait for the secondary market collapse..

    hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

I agree that the Rabbits seem to be going slightly higher.

$38 for a snake but only if you get 500+. Way out of my budget and if they were dragons my SMSF would get some but I am not that excited about PM Snakes.

So if like last year 80 % went abroad...

That means 240,000 were sold overseas leaving 6000 at the Perth Mint.

As they have 5000 left I guess that means they sold 1000, or had 100 people ordering the full roll.

Maybe not so many go abroad as has been speculated.

I see a major problem with your math.. 300,000 - 240,000 overseas = 60,000 (not 6,000 as you have outlined).

Your calculations could not be posisble as other distributors than the PM are also selling Snakes Currently so the PM could never have 100% of the domestic total.

    cheers,

This is what happens when you do all your working out on napkins in felt pen! So it looks like we still might have only received 20% of the allocation of 1oz snakes in Australia.

Not that I mind, 30 is enough for me.

    Cheers!

so what does it mean? is the snake a flop? or the entire s2 is becoming a flop?or buyers way more cautious than in previous years. think about it...next year horse, which is good, means victory ,after that goat, monkey, rooster, dog? the only good thing for sure is the 300k mintage limit... we shall see when the time is here:)

SII is becoming a flop ,all the premiums have gone out the window lately ,
The 3 coin set hasn't got much of a premium for the snake .

I thought we were always taking about bullion?
isn't PM selling the lunars through their bullion arm, not their collectors coin's department?

my thoughts on this are: you know the stuff we use to trade for silver people don't have much of it to spend they are scared to spend or have none left after living expenses.
