    no effect on PM's

    and almost no effect on the Russians

    it is just sabre rattling and the sanctions have no real impact

    Russians will ban McDonalds, they will be healthier and happier, thus they will spend more money on PM. :p

    In case if recession will start Putin will blame everything on West and West will say that this is result of their sanctions. Putin's popularity will increase and West's leader would look a little bit "tougher".

    In my country we have a proverb for this (something like this): wolf feed up, and sheep alive.

    Cuba was (is) under US sanctions for very long time yet Castro's regime is still alive and kicking...

    This is all an MSM game supporting the USA's game with NATO vs Russia.

    USA is still trading the things that matter - oil and gas - courtesy of Biden's nephew and other connections, and Europe is not going to put up with freezing in winter. If I were cynical I'd say that the grounds for Germany to leave EU and NATO are being put in place.

    Not to mention the fact that Russia and China are just about best mates these days.
