O.k. thoughts please.... lets say for example the next gold up leg mirrors the 70's....ie. 4.5 years interim high back to low therefore 4.5 years back to the high and 4.5 years to blow off. Which gold companies have the kind of reserves that can see through another 9 years easily?
Newcrest claims to have 23 years of reserve life but qualifies it. Says actual operating life will depend on recoverability. Newcrest has debt and has performed poorly for 6 years, although could be on mend. Talking about reserves, I'd just rather look for a company that has been adding faster than depletion: NST, RRL qualify. Been replacing and building reserves organically and cheaply Both also have no debt issue and have rising cash levels for possible acquisitions. EVN and SAR worth consideration
