    Guys, you all know that the more pics we post of newbie Engelhard collectors with multiply bars, the more likely the high premiums are going to vanish :lol:
    These puppies had a $200 premium when they started appearing on this forum a few months ago. It has already sunk to $100.
    Who is going to be the first one to post that they picked up one with a $50 premium? :p

    In no hurry to sell.

    They're still a rare thing so paying $100 premium is bugger all really.

    30 000 gold 1oz lunars come out each year with a slightly lower premium at issue, but after retail sellout the price for buybacks goes to spot+ $150, (going on current Horse retail at Goldstackers).

    Getting these vintage jobs with 2000 mintage is a no-brainer. Will buy mucho for spot +$50 anytime.

    I think prices has dropped a little since!
    I flip one on ebay for $1945 a couple of months ago to a USA stacker; sold within a day after I listed.
    If ebay and paypal fees wasn't so extortionate it would be a good arbitrage opportunity for an enterprising stacker on this forum to export a few to the USA

    I bought them to hold medium-term; will probably flip or swap one every few months once this current glut subsides a bit. :p

    I'm sure the ones GCM have ,
    Have a premium of $2000......his come with swirls........and have been stamped with special serial numbers.
    Hold on....I forgot that we are talking about 1oz of gold not a 1/2oz silver bar, therefore his gold nuggets would carry a premium of $20000

    Agree that this guy is full of it ........ my concern is that a new member will see his post and trade count and mistakenly thinks that he knowns what he's talking about.

    the real premium gone long time ago.the first I've seen here was about a year ago or more and went for around spot+100%. I still remember the seller and the whole thing ;) and I also know who "killed" the premium and I think Im not alone ...
