As a physical silver stacker, I'm finding some of the topics here very irritating.
I registered into this forum thinking I would be involved in discussions about stacking, not trading PMs. Much of the talk here is not about what is tangible. This is confusing to me.
Is there a silver traders forum out there somewhere?

I'm a stacker, not a trader. I can physically hold my silver, therefore i own it. I thought I came to the right place, but I'm starting to wonder...

Stacking isn't hard. Especially if you are dollar cost averaging.

There's really not that much to discuss vis stacking. Buy and take delivery of Gold and Silver in recognisable formats from trusted dealers. There done.

The rest of the time we're just killing time. That's why most of the talk is on other subjects.

Humph... disagree with you on this one Nugget. There is a hell of a lot more to it than this. :| It is an art and a true science. It really peeves me that anyone off the street can walk into a dealer and take possession. In my humble opinion, you should not even be allowed to take physical possession (ie: stack) until you have completed a 4 year degree on the subject.

Well said nugget . Doolbrevils when youve been stacking for long enough you will be much the same. How much can you talk about a piece of shiny metal ?

Most here are stackers thats why were here it just gets to a point where you become a one dimensional metal freak . I like the site for the reasons you dont seem to like ...join in & have a laugh theres enough information on metals if you use the search function & if you cant find it just ask & someone will put the serious cap on & give you the answers you want.

I am glad this topic has been raised.

    I have an issue...

How does one stack one kg bars (e.g. PM) with 10 0z coins (e.g. PM 10 oz Dragons)?

    Who's on top?

    The 1 kg's or the 10 oz'ers?

    Any ideas greatly appreciated.

    KG bars on the bottom
    10oz bars on top
And if they fall over ,just get some silver solder & solder them together :D

@DoolBrevlis and being serious for a moment as I am going to assume your post was serious...

Not sure what sort of discussion you are after. Many many threads exist on various aspects of stacking. Its a great way to spend some hours, trawling through the archives.

If however there is no thread on what you want to discuss, start one. There are enough stackers here who would join in proper (as opposed to light-hearted) discussions on pretty much any aspect of stacking.
