This is from the 1980's Doug Casey. Do hear the same rhetoric as the pumpers of today? Partially true premise, lots wrong in the conclusion and recommendations.
Had you listened to him, you would have bought gold at the high and missed on the greatest stock market boom in the history of humanity. Adjusted for inflation, you'd still be behind even at the height of this gold and silver market top. He recently appeared with Jeff Berwick, the CIA type spook guy. Doug Casey was the forerunner to him, also looks like a paid shill with the same "collectivist" speak that former military intelligence Chris Duane. Funny how they all have virtually the same rhetoric... Doug Casey has been added to the pumpers list. Seems to me like an earlier plant.
Doug Casey had a $200 million inheritance from his father. His father bought land around the Washington DC area when the government was setting up shop with expansion. His old man gambled that it would sell and cleaned up. Alot like the Kerry Packer and Rupert Murdoch set up. How can you go wrong !
There's a famous anecdote from, I think it was Henry Ford. I owe everything to some advice my father gave me. "Here's a million dollars, don't lose it."
When you dig deeper, all these guru's are actually the guys on the other side. They're all chummy together and long ago my "spidy senses" began to sense that these guys appeared to be ingenuine. So I looked into them and found out, they're on the other team. Years later, it started coming out in the wash. Even the pumper Chris Duane who's profiteering in the same way, selling copper to boot did an expose on Jim Sinclair which was information that everyone should have already known but didn't because they love to gobble up nonsense from them. You know they don't let just anyone into their circle. Obviously I like precious metals but that doesn't mean that I'm ever going to like these shills.
So.... these guys are wrong? The paper ponzi isn't a ponzi, and we were all duped into buying metals? Really? So confused right now....
