Ok guys, one of the most dishonest listings i have ever seen

A heavily polished heavily worn 1927 described as proof with "not a mark on it' ..... further evidence this is the most overgraded coin in australia

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1927-Can...81046?pt=AU_Coins2&hash=item3a883fba76&_uhb=1

The description is ALMOST as bad as the photo.. however you can clearly see ALL detail on maces has completely worn, ALL George V facial hair/ sideburns detail worn!

Check it out.. my grade is polished fine.. someone is going to be mega pissed when they get it in the mail..

    LMFAO!

Maybe the seller has no idea about coins and how to grade them.

You're right though, what happened to his sideburns?

    LOL

Look at the bands on the scepter's they are non existent, wow I would be pissed if I payed that much for it but then again you would have to be a total newbie to collecting to buy this in the first place.

Seller is a newbie at selling. Nil buyer feedback.

Dishonest or dumb, not certain. See if the sale goes through or not.

OMFG .. $63 ... that means i have about $20K worth!!! some one is going to be ropeable.

I think 27's are underpriced in general which is why i stack them but they are Soooooooo common in this grade and soooo commonly overgraded its pretty much a newb trap.

If the lister intentionally mislead or not is besides the point.. if you just bought that .. ouch

1927 parliament florins are THE NEWB TRAP.. using this knowledge to rip people off is my problem with this..

Much like how Fake Chinese Numismatic Sellers on ebay throw junky chinese fakes up - people getting massively massively ripped 99% of the time.. ebay just laps it up.. they facilitate international crime rings by making a platform to pass off junk as antique with many newbs none the wiser.
