It looks like PM has lost its reputation in australia. It seems to me with falling
price of silver and PM policy there are not many stackers left who are interested in
invest to PM Lunar Series II. The threath "LUNAR DEATH" says enough about the situation.

I have noticed that the 1oz price range is differnt to the german market.
So i am asking for the range and prices of 1/2oz series.

    Range seemes to be clear

Mouse, ox, tiger, rabbit and than same level dragon snake and horse.
    .
Can you give me an idea of prices they are traded here in australia.

    Thanks

I have the following price ranges in mind but stand to be corrected.

    oz Mouse: $65 - $75
    oz Ox: $50 - $60
    oz Tiger: $35 - $40
    oz Rabbit: $27 - $30 (I think danman49 had some up recently for $28)
oz Dragon: $19 -$21 (recently paid $19.60 for one from BB)
oz Snake: $15.5 -$17 (recently paid $15.90 for one from BB)
oz Horse: $15.5 - $16.5 (current BB price range)

We probably need Kam-L to comment but I'm also not sure how keen he is on oz Series 2 due to higher mintage numbers of the later part of the series.
Also I would anticipate the latter coins would be elastic to spot (Currently $22.80) and the former more inelastic.

    Hope that's helpful ninteno?

Edited due to pricing update on the Ox

I think these price check threads should be stickied and constantly updated. Very helpful for the community imo.

Why are we controlling the markets with fixed price here????

If it sell it sell; let the buyer decide their purchases.
Let the sellers sell, what ever they want.

Are we trying to control the fixed price here??? What is the points?

In no time there wont be anyone here, as prices are fixed.

    NO PRICE FIXED HERE!!!!! ;)

I'm just hoping to get an indication and that's why I've used price ranges and put this up in the Lunar discussion section. Hopefully the price ranges have taken volume, quality and buyer/seller circumstances into account. I also prefer market price actions on trading threads. Open and transparent that way :)

Personally, I think supply & demand and the underlying price of spot AG, will determine market prices going forward. Not our discussion on price levels.
Might be an idea to discuss mintage numbers. This information is available in the public domain and surely shouldn't offend anybody?
    Any thoughts guys?

It think the check of price range makes sense. Even not to give a seller a idea what he askes for a coin,
but if the range has updates over time you can make conclusions between spot price and premiums.
That could give you an Idea of your own future investment, maybe stay in Series two, select which sice you prefer
and how much of your invesment you want to spend on silver with higer premiums than bars.
And not at least, there are differences around the world in pricing the same coins.

Thanks for the help given here

It's not about Price Fixing here.
It is too get an idea on what people are paying for different Lunar years in various market places.

    Nothing sinister about that.

Supply and Demand determines the price.

Why do you think people shop around?

Just Purchased a PM 2013 1/2 oz Snake for 21.00 USD with free shipping from APMEX/Ebay

Also purchased a 2012 Canadian Dragon for 35.00 with free shipping from APMEX/Ebay. (Mintage of 588,888)

This one is for my little Dragon daughter born last year. The Canadian Lunar coins seem to have very stable premium.

I know they don't pull the premium invented by you.
Why don't you auction one, instead of fixing a price?

    Just to remind you:
