Someone brought this to my attention today and I can't believe I've never noticed or realise! Why is there no purity printed on the Silver Phillies? ...and what is the purity? .999 or better?
Block head...many thanks...but isn't it odd why they print the numerals as they do on majority of rounds/bullion? Its not a question I'm asking you but just more a comment...
1.50 legal tender. its not on SAE either FINE SILVER only. what is the difference in ATB 90% silver proof quarters and 5 oz ATB .999 silver quarters? it's a deception to make us accept that a quarter is no different either big or small, either metal or paper neither silver nor paper. ops just mis-spoke
Hey Mate, yeah this is alot more common than i realised also.. i note the RAM Kangroos state just 1 ounce (no troy) Fine silver (they are of course one troy ounce .999). I think it is very useful stating weight and purity and recommend to only buy ones as such but the ASE, philies and Kangaroos are are fine to buy (fine silver). Cheers, 1for1
