Try Aldi, the checkout workers there get to sit down.

    Ye thanks E.M

I cant help it if my back is sore 95% of the day but I have to deal with it and manage it aswell as possible.

I cant afford chiro sessions either.

Until you have actually had a displaced verterbrae I dont think you can make comments about it??? :(

To should look into doing online contract work, if you can type or write you can make ok money and you can do it in your own time and work as much or as little as you like/can. Particularly helpful of you're on a fixed income that will go down if you earn too much. Given your experience as a mechanic you might find decent semi steady work writing short articles for the general public in the field you know for those 6 things you never knew about X or the one secret to getting the most out of Y websites, X could be getting your car serviced, pays ok once you get into it. Check out elance and task rabbit. Apart from that there are lots of gofer jobs there you could look at to supplement your income.

Regarding interest rates though, I was surprised they didn't cut rates today, obviously worried about house prices and also keeping some moves in reserve in case things get worse. I'd be curious to know whether the RBA has a floor in mind that they won't go below, surely 0% is out but will 1%be a solid floor? Or 0.5?

Denmark, Sweden and Switzerland already have negative interest rates. I'm not sure a floor is necessary

Lets face it, we have the most timid/conservative federal bank. They won't cut rates until it's not worth it to do so.
