Don't buy in one hit.
Spread that big purchase over a couple of weeks and wait till the end of the week when prices are usually falling the sharpest.
It's not a perfect strategy but it helps a bit, sometimes a lot.

Can anyone confirm it was a China centric sell off in PM given the plunge started when their markets opened?
As we know, they hold a LOT of US debt and reports are coming out China has liquidity issues
This may be a problem if they find it by offloading gold

I am going to predict that there will be a down trend the entire week with the usual high-low fluctuations at any given moment. I am eager to see what new lows Friday will bring! Itching to make another, bigger purchase.
