Peach symbolises longevity. Monkeys with Peaches, an interesting combination often seen on ancient China jade ornaments or jewellery The Chinese word monkey "hou" sounds close to another word which represents a high ranking officer. Putting both together symbolise the best of both worlds (power and health), sort of.
