What do you guys think about the Perth Mint’s limited edition 1/10 oz 2020 Gold Kookaburra to celebrate the silver kooks 30th anniversary? https://www.ainsliebullion.com.au/m...e9ad-d376-4537-9b31-a3ad662e2dca/default.aspx
They're trying to get some in but reckon they'll be hard to find in Aus, most heading overseas. Give Ainslie a go if you're keen on getting some, I don't think they will be found any better priced than that.
For a run of 1500 coins in Australia and 150,000 globally you can rest assured Perth Mint have your best interests at heart with pricing.
Any interest in an Ainslie group buy? I am holding out for Bullion Now to get some in but was considering a bulk order from Ainslie because im impatient like that. Not sure if they offer discounts on limited editions though so will have to ring to confirm.
I highly doubt they would, considering the total number of coins in Aus is just 1500 They’re really nice in hand, I picked mine up Thursday.
My own two cents... I think so. Gold kooks don’t happen often, and it’s a commemorative design. I just wish it was a larger size, since I usually don’t stack gold under 1/4oz. It looks good in hand!
