Can you take a pic of the line. So the rest of ss can experience what it was like. Also would love to see a pic of the actual coin too.

Yes up they come... (BTW this is NOT my coin or anyone I know) #88 Asking price $2999. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/COA-No-8...260971310404?pt=AU_Coins2&hash=item3cc31a2d44
Do you think number 888 was the 888th to come of the production line or do you think they just put them in capsules in a big pile and then someone else came along and put them in a box with a numbered CoA at random? Unless you have a single person at the end of the minting line picking up the freshly minted coin (with gloves of course) putting it into the colour printer (if it is on a seperate machine and not part of one giant machine) collecting it at the other end, putting it into the box with the numbered certificate, and then going back to the next coin. then there is no real way of knowing. I always assumed you would want the low numbers because there would be less die wear but if you are just going to draw a picture of a dragon instead of engraving one (why bother with all the effort to do it properly?) then low numbers would not be necessary. If they dropped number 888 on the floor and it got damaged would they just allocate number 889 the lucky number? Do the coins go through one at a time? I know they get extra love over the circulating coins but is it a one man operation, like the Mint Your Own presses at the shows?
Well I guess if a dealer can buy 10 at a time and a show goer can only get 1, then a dealer has 10 times as many chances of getting a good one. Perth mint probably didn't get any more money for selling the #8s so why would they care, unless they want to keep their big customers happy or someone got a backhander
thats a lot of money for a little card with a number on it ?? be intersting to see if it sells if it does some people have way too much money and should just give me some and not bother or i will buy some 2oz coloured dragons and make my own llimited edition boxes and coas downies do it all the time . so maybe we can do a SS limited edition?
