    They want the car one for nine bucks.

    They want 10.50 for the surfing one.

    I will get a handful of the surfing ones from the local post office............

    Its a shame they didnt look at or strike the cars of yesteryear. i was talking to a chap last week that had a genuine XY GT HO Phase 3 straight off the production line No 25 Bathurst model. he still races. Not it, but still..

    the car on the coin could be a Holden or ford.

    The car looks like neither a holden or ford. Then again they both look much the same these days.

    You would think this would be a classic opportunity to produce both a holden and ford coin and appeal to the seperate markets.

    Dont get me started on what a great series the various models over the years would make!

    One of my business collegues bought one of these in the late 90's for 50K. Absolutely mint production spec and genuine.

    At the time, everyone though he was insane for paying that much...... now who's laughing?

    Got the mint issue in the mail today. The surfing Coin comes with the display stand
