I collect lunars and have a pretty comprehensive collection, but I'm really struggling with the 10 kilo silver lunars. I've got several and think they are by far the coolest coins of any mint, age, or size. They are addictive! Can anyone point me in the right direction on buying the older ones in the US? I'm especially looking for the Mouse, but interested in any pre-Tiger 10Ks. And if someone wants to do a swap, I'd prefer in person and I'd gladly swap a Dragon or Rabbit 10 kilo or some combination of gold and silver lunars or any other bullion. Btw, I'm new to this board, but have been active on Bullion Stacker and Kitco, with the same handle. I live in Maryland and I travel regularly to NYC and California. Most importantly, I love everything Australian, especially the Lunars (and those sexy accents!). I finally think I've found a home on this forum. Cheers, TA

lol the 10kg Pig has been sitting there for ages @ Adelaide Exchange, the condition has alot to be desired though, good luck with your lunar hunt
Thanks. I contacted the folks about that 10 kg pig. The price was OK, but they didn't mention a thing about the condition, which didn't give me a lot of confidence in them. Fortunately the person who had told me about it had warned me of the condition up front, which combined with the somewhat high price, was a deal-breaker. If anyone knows of any others, please let me know! And thanks again for the heads up on the one at AE.

Can one order a 10 kilo Mouse or Rabbit directly from the Mint at this time? Are the 10 kilos going to be minted till the end of the 12 coin set or has the Mint definitively stated that the 10 kilos will cease mintage at the end of their respective year of mintage and that's it?
Hello All... I'm brand new to this forum... I am desperately looking for the ten kilo Dog (2006) and Pig (2007). Several users have made reference to the ten kilo Mouse, but all information I've studied says that two years of production were skipped! The year of the Mouse (2008) and Ox (2009) were not made in the ten kilo size.
