    The only thing I know about platinum is that it is used in catalytic converters in cars, I figured that as car factories were being shut down all over the world the demand would be less. The few platinim coins I have seen look like tiny silver coins, at least Gold looks like gold and who doesn't like gold? I think that Platinum would be less liquid but unless you are in a rush to sell it that shouldn't matter much!
