I have used my imaginary $1100 ....at the moment about 54 cents.
I don't want comments.... I want guesses. I want to refer back to this post in 7 months and have a good laugh.
You all get $1100 for puts and calls.
    Roll up, roll up.
Yes, even you Skyrocket. If the aliens have a hot tip then bring it on.

Thanks for also inviting me to join but I know little to nothing about "put" options. :/ I'll have to read into what "put options" are more and checkout Newcrest mining before coming back with my guess.

And no tips from BM on things of this nature.

I do know if economies go south, PMs will go north, so I think most PM mining shares/companies will do well. Here's to another GFC! :D

Just checked out what "put options" are and they look to complicated for my understanding so I'm going to have to opt out of this imaginary bet. :D

    put option
    Definition:
A put option is an option contract in which the holder (buyer) has the right (but not the obligation) to sell a specified quantity of a security at a specified price (strike price) within a fixed period of time (until its expiration).

For the writer (seller) of a put option, it represents an obligation to buy the underlying security at the strike price if the option is exercised. The put option writer is paid a premium for taking on the risk associated with the obligation.

What it means is if Newcrest mining is below $14 in December then my imaginary money has multiplied.

You could always actually put some skin in the game if you're so confident of a US dollar rally
