Lunar Series I coin sizes

    Does anyone know off-hand if the 1oz Series I silver lunars are the same size as Series II. Just curious if i'll need to track down different capsules.

    Nope - Series I Lunars are the same diameter as a regular Kookaburra. Series II Lunar changed to a larger diameter.

    I think you need a 41mm capsule to fit a 1oz Lunar I. I tried with a 40mm, didn't fit.

    Either way, I have 39mm,40mm and 41mm on order and should be arriving soon.

    In the 5oz my series 1 coins look "fatter" than series 2. So I think just by eye series 2 have a larger diameter but are thinner than series 1.
